Review rules

Review process

            Manuscripts submitted to the editorial office of the journal and meeting the formal requirements, design requirements and the indicator of originality on the basis of verification through the plagiarism verification system are necessarily sent for further review.
            The journal "Bulletin of KazNPU named after Abai Series "Special Pedagogy" uses "two-way-blind" peer review, carried out by at least two scientists with the degree of Candidate of Sciences, Doctor of Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and scientific specialization on the subject of the reviewed manuscript.
            The review is conducted confidentially: the manuscript of the article is sent to the reviewers via the electronic platform of the journal without specifying data about the authors. Reviewers are required to make a clear, objective and reasoned assessment of the compliance of the manuscript with the main scientific criteria, as well as its quality and significance.
            After receiving the conclusions from the reviewers, the responsible editor sends them to the author for correspondence without specifying the reviewers' data, for responding to comments, making appropriate changes and resending the manuscript via an electronic platform.
            After responding to all comments, making changes to the manuscript to eliminate the comments of reviewers and re-sending it to the editorial office of the journal, the scientific editor sends all materials to the reviewer(s) for re-reviewing.
            The manuscript, for which there are positive conclusions from two reviewers and the responsible editor, is recommended for publication in the journal "Bulletin of KazNPU named after Abai Series "Special Pedagogy" according to the order of their acceptance for publication.
            The materials of articles rejected by the editorial team based on the results of reviewing are not used by the editorial board for its own purposes.
            The term of review is appointed by the editor responsible for the article and the term of review of the manuscript by reviewers is no more than three months from the date of sending the material to reviewers.
